The experience
The boat leaves Orhaniye village at 10:30 after hotel pickup and a short drive to Hisaronu. Your first stop is Turquoise Bay for a swimming break in clear water, then Camelia Bay where you can take photographs and swim again. The boat then sails to the remains of a monastery (another chance to swim and explore) before heading to Selimiye village where lunch is served onboard.
After lunch, the tour reaches Kizkumu Beach, where the gulf floor stays so shallow you can walk out 600 metres without the water reaching your knees. This is the defining moment of the day: a walk into the sea that feels like walking on land. You have time to explore the beach and wade out as far as you want before returning to the boat for the journey back to Marmaris, arriving around 5:30 p.m.
The tour includes hotel pickup and drop-off, transportation to the boat, lunch, bottled water, soft drinks, coffee and tea, and entrance fees. A guide speaks English or Russian throughout the day. Bring a swimsuit, sunscreen, towel and camera. Snorkeling gear is optional.
