The experience
Your experience starts with free pickup from your hotel. Once at Yasmine Loisirs, you mount for a 90-minute ride through the Tunisian mountains, moving at a pace that lets you take in the landscape without rushing. The route includes a planned break where you can stop and look out toward the sea in the distance. The kind of moment that makes for the photos you actually want to keep.
After the ride, you change into traditional Tunisian costumes at the center, which sits in a setting with authentic local architecture. This is where the tasting happens: Tabouna bread (baked the traditional way), 100% natural and local olive oil, and tea or soft drinks, depending on what you choose. It's not a meal, but it's enough to sit with and taste what the region makes.
The whole thing wraps in two hours, and the same taxi that picked you up takes you back to your hotel. If you'd rather ride a camel with a carriage instead of a horse, that option is available at checkout.
