Ziplining in Koh Pha Ngan: Via Ferrata, Sky Bike & Bridge
Zipline a valley, climb 30 meters, walk a bridge suspended over the waterfall, pedal through the air
Ziplining in Koh Pha Ngan combines four separate activities (a 30-meter Via Ferrata climb, ziplines across a valley above Wang Sai Waterfall, a Sky Bridge walk, and a Sky Bike ride) with packages ranging from 30 minutes to a full-day adventure. A professional guide in English or Thai leads the group, provides all safety equipment and insurance, and offers training before each activity. You choose the package that fits your schedule and appetite for thrills.
The Experience
You arrive at the site and get fitted with a harness and helmet. The guide walks through the safety setup for each activity, and you start with whichever package you've chosen. If you've picked Package A, the full day, you begin with the Via Ferrata: a 30-meter climb up the rock face with a continuous belay system keeping you anchored the whole way. The climb itself is the physical core of the day. It's steep and it demands focus, but the system does the holding.
From there, the ziplines take over. You cross a 120- to 150-meter span that drops you over a valley. Wang Sai Waterfall sits below, and Koh Ma Beach spreads out beyond. The Sky Bridge comes next: a suspended walk across open air with the same waterfall view. The Sky Bike is the oddest moment: you pedal a bicycle rigged to a cable, so you're cycling through the air. At the end, the Sky Table is a platform where the guide serves fresh tropical fruits and juice while you sit with the panorama in front of you. Packages B, C and D strip down the lineup: B and C run about 45 minutes each, D is 30 minutes of ziplines alone. Package E is just the Sky Table and refreshment, a 10-minute break if you're passing through.
The guide stays with your group throughout, handles all the equipment checks, and briefs you on technique before each activity. Safety gear (harness, helmet, belay system) is included. So is first aid coverage and insurance. You'll need closed-toe shoes. The operator has rental shoes and socks at no cost if you didn't bring them. The weight range is 34 to 125 kilograms. Anyone under 34 kg zips tandem with another participant.

How long does the full adventure take?
Package A, the complete experience with Via Ferrata, ziplines, Sky Bridge, Sky Bike and the Sky Table, runs about an hour total. Packages B and C each take roughly 45 minutes. Package D is 30 minutes of ziplines only.
What's the Via Ferrata climb actually like?
The Via Ferrata is a 30-meter ascent up a rock face with a belay system that keeps you secured the entire way. It's the most physically demanding part of the day, but the continuous safety line means you're never unanchored.
Can I do just the ziplines without the other activities?
Yes. Package D is ziplines only and takes about 30 minutes. Package B adds the Sky Bridge to four ziplines for roughly 45 minutes if you want a bit more than just the lines.
What happens if I'm afraid of heights?
The guide can work with you through the training before each activity, and the safety systems are continuous. You're never unsecured. That said, the Sky Bridge and Sky Bike both involve being suspended over the valley, so if heights are genuinely difficult for you, the Via Ferrata climb or ziplines alone might suit you better than the full package.
Do I need to bring anything or wear specific clothes?
Wear closed-toe, closed-heel shoes. The operator provides rental shoes and socks at no cost if you don't have them. Avoid loose-hanging clothes like scarves, dresses or skirts that could catch on the equipment. The guide provides the harness, helmet and all safety gear.
Is there a weight limit?
Participants must weigh between 34 and 125 kilograms. If you're under 34 kg, you'll zipline tandem with another participant for safety.
