The experience

The tour starts with Wat Arun lit up at night, where you'll stop to photograph the temple before crossing the Chao Phraya River on a local ferry. Once across, you ride to Wat Pho, the Temple of the Reclining Buddha, where your guide walks you through the temple grounds at night and shares the history of Thailand and Bangkok. From there you cycle around the Grand Palace, closed after dark but still visible lit up, and your guide explains the history of the Thai monarchy.

Dinner happens at a local street food stop where you eat like a local instead of at a tourist restaurant. After that comes Pak Klong Talad, Bangkok's flower market, which stays open 24 hours. At night you'll see roses, orchids, lilies and other blooms under the lights. The ride finishes at Wat Prayoon, where a huge white stupa glows at night, then you follow the riverside and winding back streets back to the start.

You'll need to be at least 14 years old and comfortable riding an electric scooter through city streets. The helmet and scooter are provided, along with bottled water throughout the 3.5-hour tour. A live guide speaks English and leads the whole route, so you're not navigating on your own.
