The first stop is Lim Lao Now for fishball egg noodles, then a walk down a narrow street to Yaowarat Road for fresh fried Chinese Pa Tong Go Savoey doughnuts. From there, the route moves through Bangkok's largest Chinatown — founded in 1782 and still home to the descendants of Teochew immigrants who shaped the neighborhood's food culture — stopping at Nai Ek's rolled noodles shop for thinly rolled rice noodles that look like mini-cigars, and another stall for crab fried rice topped with lime and chilies in fish sauce.

The guide walks you through the area and points out Rajadamnoen Avenue, which connects the Grand Palace to Dusit Palace, then leads you to Jay Fai — the only street stall in Thailand with a Michelin star.
