The performers — all ladyboy artists in costumes that probably cost more than a month's rent — do numbers inspired by Marilyn Monroe, Elvis, burlesque, and traditional Khon dance. You get two showtimes to choose from, so you can either catch the earlier show or stay out later depending on what your evening looks like.

Getting there is simpler than you'd think. Take the BTS Skytrain to Saphan Thaksin, walk toward the river (about 40 meters), and board the Asiatique shuttle boat — it's a five-minute ride across the water and costs almost nothing. The whole journey from central Bangkok takes maybe twenty minutes door-to-door. Once you're in Warehouse 3, you find your seat (first come, first served, though they'll arrange something special if you need wheelchair access or have a specific request). The stage is close enough that you can see the detail in the costumes and the precision in the choreography. Songs are performed in English, Korean, and Thai, so there's no language barrier even if you don't speak a word of Thai.

You sit down at the Calypso restaurant inside the same space, order from a Thai menu, and watch a traditional Khon dance performance while you eat. Then the main cabaret show starts. Note that from mid-May through July, the 9 p.m. show and late dinner service pause for the season, so plan around the earlier times if you're traveling then.
