The experience

The day starts with a private Mercedes transfer to Vitznau, where you board the cogwheel train that climbs Mount Rigi. At the summit, called Kulm, you have time to absorb the views of Lake Lucerne and the surrounding mountains at whatever pace suits you. Lunch is on your own at the mountaintop restaurant, where you can choose from traditional Swiss dishes, cakes, and drinks. If you want to move around, a one-hour downhill walk is an option in summer.
