The experience
You arrive in Stockholm with a camera and no idea how to use half of it. This walk solves that. For three hours, a live guide meets you and moves through the city's most photographed sites (the narrow cobblestone streets of Gamla Stan, the Royal Palace courtyard, the Skeppsholm bridge and the old wooden ships anchored nearby), but the landmarks are not the point. The point is learning to see them through your lens. Your guide shows you how to shift from auto mode to manual settings: what aperture does to depth, how shutter speed freezes or blurs motion, why ISO matters when light runs low. You stop at each location long enough to apply what you've learned, framing shots using perspective, lines and colour instead of just standing where everyone else does.
The tour is private, which means your guide's attention stays on you. Whether you're holding your first DSLR or you've shot for years, the instruction meets you where you are. You'll learn how light behaves at different times of day, how to control it and use it, and what you can fix or enhance later in post-processing. The Royal Palace courtyard, the theatre house plaza, the viewpoints over the water. Each stop becomes a lesson in composition, not a checkbox on a sightseeing list. You walk away with images you made yourself and the knowledge to make better ones next time.

Top questions
What happens if it rains?
It may be canceled due to bad weather. If that happens, you're offered another date or a refund. Free cancellation up to 24 h before the start.
What camera equipment do I need to bring?
Bring your own camera (DSLR, mirrorless or advanced compact), and any lenses you want to learn with. The guide works with whatever equipment you have and teaches you to use it better.
Will I learn how to use manual mode if I've never done it before?
Yes. The guide covers aperture, shutter speed and ISO from the ground up, showing you how each one changes your image and when to adjust them. You practice at each stop.
What happens if the weather is bad during the tour?
The tour runs in most conditions. Rain and overcast skies actually change how light behaves, which becomes part of the lesson. Bring weather-appropriate clothing.
Can I get prints or files of the photos I take during the tour?
The images you shoot belong to you. The guide does not provide prints or digital files. You keep the photos on your camera's memory card.
Is there time to edit photos during the walk, or just shoot?
The focus is on shooting and learning to see. Post-processing tips are covered (how to enhance what you've captured), but the three hours are spent on location with your camera.
