The Experience

You'll work as an artisan for two hours in a space that has held history for centuries. The Palacio Arzobispal sits at the base of the Giralda, and the workshop itself occupies a room where the Salon Deza's tiles—more than 400 years old—still stand. You're not learning about mosaic work from a distance; you're cutting, placing and grouting geometric pieces the way craftspeople have done in Seville for generations. The guide walks you through each step, and all the materials you need are already laid out.

By the end of the two hours, you have a finished mosaic in your hands. It's small enough to carry, durable enough to hang or display, and made entirely by you during the workshop. You leave with something concrete—not a photo or a memory, but an object you built in a room where that work has mattered for centuries.
