The experience

The winery sits in the center of Rioja Alavesa at the foot of the Sierra de Cantabria, and the tour starts in the oldest part of the building before moving into the tunnels where the wines age. A guide leads the whole route and explains what you're seeing as you move through each section.

After the walk, you sit down to taste all the wines the winery produces, paired with local snacks. Travelers under 18 get must (the freshly pressed grape juice) instead of wine. The whole experience takes about 90 minutes from start to finish.
