The experience
You arrive at one of Denia's best restaurants overlooking the sea and start with a welcome drink and appetizer: olives, nuts, whatever the kitchen has ready that day. Then the painting begins. The professor teaches you color-layer techniques simple enough that you don't need prior experience. The point is to finish with a painting you actually want to take home, not to become an artist in three hours. You work while the light changes across the water, and the whole room paints the same view at the same time.
Once the brushes go down, the kitchen takes over. Dinner is four dishes built on what Denia does well as a UNESCO Creative City of Gastronomy: tuna prepared two ways (a home-made dry tuna, then fresh herb soup with persimmon), sea bass ceviche with celery and lime ice cream, cold herb croquettes, and octopus finished on the grill. A dark chocolate and hazelnut dessert closes it. Two drinks come with the meal. The timing shifts through the year (October to December starts at 4pm, January to March at 4:30pm, April onward at 6pm), so the sunset always frames the evening, never the schedule.
The class runs in reduced groups and suits couples, solo travelers, or families with children six and up. A guide speaks English, Spanish, or French, and the restaurant will adjust the menu for any allergies or intolerances you mention when you book. All materials for painting are included, and the space is wheelchair accessible.

What exactly is in the four-course dinner?
The menu includes tuna prepared two ways (home-made dry tuna and fresh herb soup with persimmon and pickled vegetables), sea bass ceviche with celery and lime ice cream, cold croquettes with herb aioli, octopus cooked low and finished on the grill with roasted red onion cream, and a dark chocolate and hazelnut dessert. Two drinks and a welcome appetizer come before the meal starts.
