Menorca South Coast Boat Tour: Beaches, Snorkel & Glassbottom
The boat gets you to four beaches most people can only reach on foot or by water.
This half-day boat tour departs from Cala'n Bosch marina and runs along Menorca's south coast, stopping at four beaches (Cala Turqueta, Cala Macarella, Cala Mitjana and Cala Trebaluger) that are otherwise accessible only by foot or boat. The boat docks at one unspoiled beach where you can snorkel with included gear, use the waterslides, or view sea life through the boat's glassbottom Reflex System. A multilingual audio guide plays on your phone with exclusive content about each stop, and you select your seat onboard when you book. The tour runs either morning or afternoon and lasts roughly three and a half hours.

The experience
The boat leaves Cala'n Bosch marina and cruises the wild south coastline, pulling close to each beach so you can photograph it and hear the audio guide explain what you're seeing. Four stops mean four different coves: each one a different shape, a different color of sand, a different angle on the cliffs behind it. The boat gets as close as the water allows, so you're not squinting from a distance. You're standing on deck looking at the actual rock and the actual beach.
At one of the beaches, the boat docks and you have a choice: snorkel with the gear that's included, slide down the waterslides if you want to move around, or stay onboard and look through the glassbottom Reflex System to watch what's moving in the water below without getting wet. Infants sit on an adult's lap. The boat has toilets, a coffee bar and ice cream onboard. Comfortable shoes help when you're stepping from the boat onto the dock, and if motion sickness is a concern, let the staff know before you board.
You pick your seat when you book through the website, not assigned at the dock, so you can choose where you want to sit for the ride. The audio guide comes through your phone in English, Spanish, Italian, French or German, and it's exclusive content made for this tour, not a generic voiceover. Weather and a minimum number of passengers are required for the tour to run. If either falls through, you get offered a different date, a different route, or your money back.

Is this one for you?Book the morning departure if you want the beaches before the afternoon crowds arrive, or the afternoon slot if you're exploring Menorca earlier in the day. Either way, the fixed schedule and included snorkel gear mean you're not arranging transport between beaches or renting equipment separately. The boat handles the route and the stops hold together without you building the day.

Top questions
Can I snorkel on this Menorca boat tour?
Yes. Snorkeling gear is included, and the boat docks at one of the beaches where you can enter the water to snorkel. You can also use the waterslides at that stop or stay onboard and watch sea life through the boat's glassbottom window if you prefer not to swim.
Which beaches does the boat visit on the south coast tour?
The tour stops at Cala Turqueta, Cala Macarella, Cala Mitjana and Cala Trebaluger. The boat gets as close as possible to each one so you can see and photograph them. Most of these beaches are only reachable on foot or by boat, so the tour is the main way to visit all four in one morning or afternoon.
How long is the half-day boat tour from Cala'n Bosch?
The tour runs roughly three and a half hours from departure to return at Cala'n Bosch marina. You choose morning or afternoon depending on which departure time suits your schedule.
Do I need to book my seat in advance on this tour?
Yes. Seat selection happens when you book through the website, not at the dock. This lets you choose where you want to sit for the ride and helps the boat optimize space for all passengers.
What's included in the price of the south coast boat tour?
Snorkeling equipment, all fees and taxes, and insurance are included. The multilingual audio guide on your phone is also part of the experience. Food and drinks beyond the coffee and ice cream bar onboard are not included, and seat selection itself is not available on this booking platform.
Is the audio guide available in English?
Yes. The audio guide plays on your mobile phone in English, Spanish, Italian, French or German, with exclusive content about each beach and stop along the route.
