The experience

You arrive at the castle in San Miguel after your hotel pickup, cross the drawbridge and meet the Count and Countess. The show unfolds in a grand indoor arena: knights on horseback fight for the hand of the princess with real sword fighting and fantastic horsemanship. While the tournament plays out in front of you, you sit down to a medieval banquet: vegetable soup, a whole roasted chicken with baked potatoes and mojo, cake, and free-flowing white and red wine throughout the meal. Orange juice and water are also available.

After dinner, Brazilian acrobatic dancers take over the arena for a Capoeira show, followed by a birds of prey spectacular to close the evening. The whole event runs Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday nights, making it an easy fit for a free evening during your stay. Hotel pickup and drop-off from the south area of Tenerife are included.
