The Experience
You pick up the mini jeep and drive it yourself along Mallorca's east coast, following your guide's directions to five or six stops. The route climbs to one of the highest mountains on the east side—508 metres up—where the view opens across the whole island. From there you drop down to a small monastery perched on the cliffs with views back over the coast, then head to a swimming stop where you can cool off in the water. The guide handles navigation; you handle the road.
The second half of the day takes you past Porto Cristo's natural harbour, then out to a fire tower on the cliffs near the Caves of Drach. The route stays on paved roads—off-road driving is not permitted on Mallorca and the operator supports that fully. Water and fuel are included, so you don't stop to pay for either. The guide speaks English or German depending on which departure you book.
A 3-hour tour and a 4-hour tour run the same route but with different stop combinations, so pick based on how much time you have. You need to be at least 18 years old with a valid Class B driving licence, and the mini jeep fits most body types—anyone taller than 190cm won't fit comfortably. Children can join from age 4 onwards, though the operator notes the tour isn't recommended for people with poor cardiovascular health.
What’s included
- Water throughout the day.
- fuel for the mini jeep.
- a guide in English or German.
- driving the mini jeep yourself on all roads.
