The day starts at a meeting point in central Malaga. Your guide — bilingual, official — meets you there and you board an air-conditioned coach for the 45-minute drive inland. The landscape shifts from city to countryside, and by the time you arrive at Caminito del Rey, you're already thinking about what you're about to walk into. The guide hands you a helmet (required, non-negotiable) and explains the route: you'll move through natural canyons, learn the history of why this path was so dangerous and how it was fixed, and see the geology that carved the whole thing.
