The experience

The class starts with basic flamenco steps and hand movements performed to live flamenco music. A professional dancer leads you through the fundamental rhythms, building your feel for the art form's expressive power through movement and sound. No dance background is required. The instruction is designed entirely for beginners.

You'll work on coordinating your hands and feet to flamenco rhythms, learning how the dance captures emotion and energy. The guide teaches in English, Spanish, French or Dutch, so language is not a barrier. The one-hour session is paced to let you experience the richness of flamenco without overwhelming you with complexity.
