The experience
La llosa del cavall is a reservoir built into a valley of rocky cliffs and Pre-Pyrenean forest, with water so clear and still that it reads as a single sheet. No currents move through it, the banks stay close enough that you never feel far from shore, and the swamp allows kayaking, paddling and swimming year-round. The fleet includes 102 kayaks (open "sit on top" models that are unsinkable and self-emptying, plus crossing kayaks for a different feel), and ten high-range Riptide paddle surf boards. You rent by the hour, from one hour to a full day, and the price is per boat.
Every rental includes a life jacket, paddle, watertight bag and GoPro support if you want to film. Civil liability and accident insurance come with it. A professional guide who speaks English, Spanish or French can lead you through an introduction to the basics and conduct the session, or you can take the boat unguided and explore on your own schedule. The access point is wheelchair accessible, and the terrain suits all fitness levels.
