The experience

You're the one at the controls. After a briefing on handling and safety, you climb onto one of the operator's new jet skis and take it out for 30 or 60 minutes: your choice at checkout. The route runs along Barcelona's coast, so you're seeing the skyline, beaches and major buildings from the water instead of from a street. No license is required, and if you want company, you can bring a passenger who's at least 12 years old riding behind you on the same machine.

The operator provides a wetsuit, lifejacket and safety vest. Dressing rooms and showers are on-site. You'll need to leave a 200€ deposit per jet ski as security. It comes back after you return. Bring your ID card or passport, since everyone has to show one before heading out. A guide is available in English, Spanish or French if you have questions during the briefing, though once you're on the water, the experience is yours to control.
