A century-old cave, flamenco in its purest form, and the stage so close you feel the rhythm.

A 1-hour flamenco show in a cave restaurant in Granada's Albaycín district, 5 minutes from the city center, where dancers perform alegrías, tangos, soléas and bulerías on a stage inside a century-old cave lit and decorated for the performance. You choose your arrival time (7:30 pm or 9:30 pm) and your ticket option: show with a drink, show with a 2-course meal, show with a 5-course tapas menu, or show with a kids menu if children are attending. Vegetarian, vegan and celiac options are available if you note them at booking.

Flamenco show in cave restaurant

  • Arrive at cave restaurant
  • Enjoy 1-hour flamenco show

The Experience

What makes this cave different from a standard tablao is the space itself — a century-old venue carved into the rock, sized and lit to hold the full emotional weight of flamenco without feeling like a theater. The stage is close enough that you watch the dancers' feet hit the floor and see the sweat and control that goes into each movement. You arrive at either 7:30 pm or 9:30 pm depending on which show time your ticket covers, and the performance runs about an hour.

The dancers move through the most rhythmic palos of flamenco — alegrías, tangos, soléas por bulerías, seguiriyas, bulerías — each one a different emotional register, and the progression is built to take you somewhere. You sit at a table in the cave while this happens, which is where your ticket option matters: you can watch with a drink in front of you, or eat while the show unfolds. The 2-course flamenco menu and the 5-course tapas menu both come with dessert and drinks included; the kids menu is available if you're bringing children who need to eat.

The cave is in the Albaycín district, close enough to the city center that you can walk there or take public transport. A small amount of walking is involved to get to your seat. If you have specific dietary needs — vegetarian, vegan, celiac — let the operator know when you book and they'll have it ready. Wheelchair access is available if you let them know ahead of time.
