The experience

The walk starts in the Albaicín, the old Muslim quarter that sits at the heart of Granada's World Heritage Site. You climb through narrow streets and passages to the viewpoint of San Nicolás, where the Alhambra fills the view across the valley. The guide explains the quarter's history and layout as you move through it: the architecture, the way the streets connect, what the space meant to the people who built it.

From there you head into Sacromonte, the neighborhood recognizable by its caves carved into the hillside. After the Castilian conquest, minority groups came to settle here, and the caves became homes.
