The drive from Seville takes most of the morning, but the route itself frames what you're heading toward: the Strait of Gibraltar narrows as you travel south, and by the time the minivan reaches the peninsula, you can see across to Africa. The Rock of Gibraltar dominates the landscape—a natural formation that has been fought over for centuries and now holds the territory's history layered into its stone. You'll have free time to walk Main Street, Gibraltar's commercial heart, and stand at the southernmost point of Europe where the Mediterranean and Atlantic meet.

The macaques are the draw most travelers come for. These are the only wild primates in Europe, and they live on the Rock itself. If you've selected the Rock Tour option at checkout, you'll ride up to see them in their habitat—a moment most visitors don't expect to find in Spain. The viewpoint from the top also gives you the full sweep of the strait and, on clear days, the African coast beyond. On Sundays, you stop in Tarifa first, a coastal town where you'll visit a viewpoint and take a short walk before continuing to Gibraltar, which extends the day to 15 hours total.

Transport is by air-conditioned minivan or bus, and the guide handles the route and timing. National Park fees are included if you've chosen the Rock Tour option; otherwise, entry to the main attractions is covered.
