Step-by-step itinerary
Full-day catamaran trip to Formentera

- Swim, snorkel, and paddleboard at Ses Illetes beach
- Enjoy free time in Formentera
- Experience sunset with DJ and saxophonist
- Return to Ibiza
The experience
Eleven to twelve hours on the water means you leave Ibiza in the morning and don't return until evening, so the day is built around two things: the swim stops on the way out, and the long stretch of free time once you reach Formentera. The catamaran anchors first at Espalmador for 45 minutes to snorkel and swim in the shallows of Es Trucadors Pass, then moves to Ses Illetes for 75 minutes: a beach Lonely Planet ranks among the world's ten best, where you can paddleboard or snorkel again. After that, you have roughly five to seven hours loose in Formentera itself, depending on the sunset time that day.
Food and drink run all day: breakfast and coffee come early, lunch arrives mid-morning or around midday, and dinner is served on the return voyage. The open bar stocks sangria, beer, soft drinks and juice throughout. Complimentary VIP sunbeds sit on the main deck, available to all guests. The return crossing is when the entertainment happens: a DJ and a saxophonist play live as Es Vedrà rises in the background and the sun drops into the water. Paddleboards and snorkel gear are included at both swim stops.
Two ticket levels are available at checkout: Advance and Premium. A live guide speaks English, Spanish or Portuguese depending on the group. The boat is wheelchair accessible, and strollers are welcome for infants and small children. Service animals are allowed, and public transport runs near the departure point.

Is this one for you?Choose the Advance ticket for a standard all-day experience, or upgrade to Premium if you want reserved seating and additional perks at checkout. Either way, the long free time in Formentera (five to seven hours) suits travelers who want to explore the island on their own rather than follow a guided itinerary once you arrive.

Top questions
What languages is the tour guided in?
Live guide in English, Spanish and Portuguese.
Can children come?
Yes. Ticket types: Child (4 to 12 years); Infant (under 4): free.
What happens if it rains?
It may be canceled due to bad weather. If that happens, you're offered another date or a refund. Free cancellation up to 24 h before the start.
How much free time do I actually get in Formentera itself?
Between five and seven hours, roughly from early afternoon until shortly before sunset, depending on the time of year. The exact window shifts with the sunset, but you have a long window to explore the island on your own.
What happens at Ses Illetes, and why is it special?
Ses Illetes is a 75-minute swim stop where you can snorkel, paddleboard or simply float in water so clear and shallow it's become one of the ten best beaches in the world according to Lonely Planet. It's the second of two anchorages before Formentera.
Is there food included, or do I need to bring money for meals?
Breakfast, lunch and dinner are all included, along with an open bar serving sangria, beer, soft drinks and juice. Coffee and tea are available throughout the day. No separate payment for meals or drinks is needed.
When does the entertainment happen, and what should I expect?
A DJ and saxophonist perform live during the sail back to Ibiza as the sun sets, with Es Vedrà visible in the distance. It's the finale of the day, not something that happens earlier.
Do I need to bring snorkel gear and a paddleboard, or are they provided?
Snorkel gear and paddleboards are included at both swim stops: Espalmador and Ses Illetes. You don't need to bring your own or pay extra to use them.
