The experience
The finca sits in one of the region's darkest-sky areas, and the evening unfolds entirely around your group. A professional astronomer leads observations of planets, stars, and deep-sky objects visible that night through telescopes you don't operate yourself. The staff handles the equipment while you watch and ask. Live astronomical imaging lets you see what the telescope sees in real time, and there's no prior knowledge required. Between observations, you move at your own rhythm: relax in the quiet countryside, sit down to a private dinner under the open sky, spend time by the bonfire with marshmallows, or simply stand still and let your eyes adjust to the dark.
What separates this from a standard tour is the absence of a fixed script. Questions, silence, conversation, and reflection all fit naturally into the evening. If one object holds your attention for an hour, the guide stays with it. If you want to step away and listen to the animals or watch the fire, that's the rhythm of the night. Dinner includes open buffet options with meat and vegetarian dishes. The finca can accommodate dietary requests if you mention them when booking. Tea, coffee, lemonade, and water flow throughout the five hours, and the bonfire runs all evening.
The finca itself is a working rural property with gardens, animal zones, and open landscapes: part of what makes the dark sky possible and part of what fills the hours between telescope sessions. If you're staying overnight, breakfast is available the next morning and must be arranged at booking. Infants and small children can come in a pram or stroller, and service animals are welcome. The only real constraint is animal allergies, which would make the finca setting uncomfortable.

Is this one for you?Book this if your group wants to move at its own pace and spend as much time as you want on the objects that fascinate you most. A standard group tour rushes through a script. This one lets you linger, ask questions, and shape the evening around what you actually want to see and experience. The private format also means no competing for the guide's attention or waiting for others to finish their questions.
Top questions
What languages is the tour guided in?
Live guide in English, Spanish and Polish.
What happens if it rains?
It may be canceled due to bad weather. If that happens, you're offered another date or a refund. Free cancellation up to 24 h before the start.
What exactly do I look at through the telescopes?
Planets, stars, and deep-sky objects visible on the night of your visit. The astronomer chooses what's best in the sky that evening and can spend as much time as you want on any single object. There's no fixed list or time limit per target.
Do I need to know anything about astronomy before I go?
No. The guide is a professional astronomer who explains what you're seeing in real time, and the live imaging shows you exactly what the telescope is pointed at. Prior knowledge isn't required. Curiosity is enough.
What happens if the weather turns bad?
Clear skies are essential for stargazing. If clouds or rain make observation impossible, you can reschedule for another night or discuss options with the operator when weather becomes a concern.
Can I book this for a specific group size?
Yes. Purchase options range from groups of two to fourteen travelers, and each booking is private: your group alone with the astronomer and the finca. Larger groups (up to fourteen) can be accommodated. Smaller groups (two to four) are also available.
Is there food included, or do I need to bring my own?
Dinner is included: an open buffet with meat and vegetarian dishes, plus unlimited tea, coffee, lemonade, and water throughout the evening. Marshmallows for the bonfire are provided. If you have dietary restrictions, mention them at booking and the finca will do its best to accommodate.
Can I stay overnight at the finca?
Optional overnight stays are available but must be arranged in advance when you book. Breakfast is included if you stay the night and is also arranged at booking time.
