Step-by-step itinerary

Cruise along Cabo de Gata beaches

  • Depart from Carboneras port
  • Pass Playa de los Muertos beach
  • Walk along coast to Agua Amarga
  • Stop at Algarrobico beach for swim
  • Anchor at Cala de Enmi for swim

The experience

The boat leaves Carboneras port heading north toward Playa de los Muertos, the first beach on the route. From there the coast opens up: you travel past the Mesa Roldan Lighthouse and into Agua Amarga, watching the volcanic landscape rise from the water. The pace is built around the stops, not the transit, so you spend the morning anchored at two beaches where the water is clear enough to see the bottom.

Algarrobico beach is the main swimming stop, located 4 km north of Carboneras. You'll anchor here long enough for a full swim and snorkel session before the boat moves on to Cala de Enmi, where you anchor again for another dip. The boat carries all the safety gear you need, and the crew handles the navigation while you decide how long to stay in the water at each cove.

What’s included

  • Safety equipment.
  • all fees and taxes.
  • boat transport from Carboneras port to four coves along the Cabo de Gata coast.
