The experience
The guide meets you at the cruise terminal once you disembark and takes you through Yeosu at whatever pace suits your group. You'll visit Hyangiram Hermitage, a seaside Buddhist temple built into coastal cliffs; Jinnamggan Hall, the largest wooden naval headquarters from Korea's Joseon Dynasty; and Yi Sun-shin Square, a waterfront landmark honoring the nation's legendary admiral. The route also passes through Yeosu Jungang Market and Gyodong Market, where you can sample fresh seafood and regional specialties or simply watch local life unfold. Travel time between stops is built into the day, so you're not rushed between sites.
Two optional paid attractions let you shape the afternoon further. The Yeosu Maritime Cable Car (KRW 15,000 per person, paid on-site) crosses from Jasan Park to Odongdo Island for aerial views of the harbor. If you skip it, you can walk the island's camellia forests and coastal trails instead, or stay in the park. Yeosu Sky Tower (KRW 3,000 on-site) offers panoramic views of the harbor and Expo Park, or you can spend that time exploring the waterfront district that was built for the 2012 World Expo. Your guide will suggest stops based on the time your ship docked and when it departs, and will reroute if weather or traffic demands it. The guarantee is your on-time return to the port.
Pickup and drop-off happen at Yeosu Port, and the operator contacts you via messenger the evening before to confirm your guide and meeting point. Toll, parking and fuel are included. Lunch and admission fees are not. Once your ship docks, disembark and head to the cruise terminal to meet your guide. If you haven't heard from the operator by 10:00 PM the night before, reach out via WhatsApp through the booking platform.

Top questions
What languages is the tour guided in?
Live guide in English and Chinese.
What happens if it rains?
It may be canceled due to bad weather. If that happens, you're offered another date or a refund. Free cancellation up to 24 h before the start.
What is Hyangiram Hermitage like?
Hyangiram Hermitage is a Buddhist temple perched on coastal cliffs where ancient architecture blends with the surrounding ocean and rock formations. You follow winding pathways to prayer halls and vistas overlooking the water. It's one of Yeosu's most visited sacred sites.
Can I visit Odongdo Island on this tour?
Yes. You can ride the Yeosu Maritime Cable Car from Jasan Park to Odongdo Island for aerial views (KRW 15,000 per person, paid on-site), or walk across the bridge to explore the island's camellia forests, coastal trails and lighthouse at your own pace.
What happens if my ship arrives late or leaves early?
Your pickup time adjusts to your ship's actual docking time. The 8:00 AM listed is a placeholder. The operator contacts you the evening before with your real meeting time, and your return to port is guaranteed to match your ship's departure, so the itinerary compresses or expands as needed.
Do I need to book lunch in advance?
Lunch is not included in the tour price. You can eat at the markets you visit, at restaurants your guide suggests, or skip a meal stop if time is tight. The operator will factor meal time into the day if you want it.
What if the weather is bad or a site is closed?
The itinerary adjusts for weather, traffic or unexpected closures to keep you safe and get you back to the port on time. Your guide will suggest alternative attractions that fit the day, so you still see the city even if one or two planned stops aren't possible.
