Six Seoul landmarks in a single morning or afternoon, without navigating the metro.

A private sightseeing tour of Seoul with an English-speaking driver and hotel pickup covers Gyeongbokgung Palace, Bukchon Hanok Village, Insadong, Jogyesa Temple, Myeongdong and Namdaemun market over eight hours. The tour runs as a private group—just your party and the driver—so the pace and stops are yours to shape. You choose either Incheon or Seoul pickup and drop-off at checkout.

The Experience

The driver picks you up from your hotel (or Incheon airport if that's your option) in an air-conditioned vehicle and handles the route while you take in the landmarks. Gyeongbokgung Palace opens the day—a royal compound where you walk the grounds and see the changing of the guard ceremony. From there the tour moves through Bukchon Hanok Village, a neighborhood of restored traditional Korean houses, then into Insadong's narrow streets lined with antique shops and galleries.

Jogyesa Temple sits in the middle of the city and draws both monks and tourists; you'll see the main hall and courtyard. The afternoon swings toward the modern side—Myeongdong is Seoul's busiest shopping district, packed with department stores and street vendors, and Namdaemun market sprawls across several blocks selling everything from silk to street food. Because it's a private tour, you're not locked into a fixed schedule at each stop; the driver adjusts based on what holds your interest.

All transportation, vehicle fees and taxes are included. The driver speaks English and knows the city well enough to answer questions and suggest photo spots. Infants and small children travel free, and specialized infant seats are available if you need one. If you're flying into Incheon, you can arrange pickup there instead of at your Seoul hotel, which saves a separate airport transfer.

Top questions

Can I book this tour if I'm arriving at Incheon airport?

Yes—at checkout you can choose Incheon pickup and drop-off instead of a Seoul hotel. The driver will meet you at arrivals and take you directly to your hotel or accommodation, then run the sightseeing tour from there.

What is Gyeongbokgung Palace and what will I see there?

Gyeongbokgung Palace is a royal compound built in the 14th century and the main residence of Korean kings for centuries. You'll walk the palace grounds, see the main halls and courtyards, and watch the changing of the guard ceremony if the timing aligns.

How much time do I spend at each stop?

The tour covers six landmarks over eight hours, but because it's private, the driver can spend more time at the places that interest you most and move quickly through others. There's no fixed schedule at each site.

Is lunch included in the tour?

Lunch is not included, but the driver can recommend restaurants near the stops or you can eat at one of the markets—Myeongdong and Namdaemun both have food vendors and sit-down options.

Can I bring my infant on this tour?

Yes—infants travel free and can sit on an adult's lap, or you can request a specialized infant seat when you book. The vehicle is air-conditioned and the tour is suitable for all fitness levels.

What language does the driver speak?

The driver speaks English and will guide you through each stop, answer questions about Seoul and help you navigate the landmarks.
