The experience
The Songdo Skywalk is the centerpiece: a 296-meter ocean boardwalk stretching around Geobukseom Island at just 5.5 to 8 meters above sea level, close enough to feel the spray. Sections of transparent tempered glass let you watch the water directly beneath your feet as you walk. This is the longest ocean skywalk in Korea, and the experience is built around that sensation of moving out over the sea rather than along a distant cliff.
From there, the guide takes you to Gamcheon Culture Village, where houses climb the hillside in staircase fashion: the layout earned it the nickname "Machu Picchu of Busan." The narrow alleys wind through the neighborhood decorated with resident-made murals and sculptures, and you'll have time to walk and photograph. The village sits on a coastal mountain, so the setting itself is part of what draws people here. You'll also pass through Gukje Market, one of Korea's largest, where postwar refugees set up stalls that grew into a sprawling network of smaller connected markets stocked with everything from textiles to street food.
Hwangnyeongsan Mountain Observatory sits at 427 meters above the city center. Rather than hiking, you're driven to the summit, where the flat top opens to views of Busan's entire harbor and skyline. The tour includes round-trip transportation from your cruise ship's port, an air-conditioned minivan or bus, bottled water, and a Korean-style lunch or dinner timed to your schedule. An English-speaking guide leads the whole day. The minimum group size is two passengers. You can book for up to 6, 10, or 30 people depending on which option you choose at checkout.

Top questions
What is the Songdo Skywalk actually like to walk on?
The Songdo Skywalk is a 296-meter boardwalk built just 5.5 to 8 meters above the sea around Geobukseom Island. Parts of the flooring use transparent tempered glass, so you can see the water directly below as you walk, creating the sensation of stepping on water rather than a traditional boardwalk perched high on a cliff.
Can I eat at Jagalchi Fish Market during the tour?
Jagalchi Market, Korea's largest seafood market, is included in the itinerary. The market is famous for fresh raw fish sold right at the stalls, and you'll have the chance to explore it, though a Korean-style lunch or dinner is provided as part of the tour package depending on your schedule.
Do I have to hike up Hwangnyeongsan Mountain?
No. Hwangnyeongsan Mountain Observatory sits at 427 meters, and you're driven to the summit rather than hiking. The flat top offers sweeping views of Busan's skyline and harbor without requiring a climb.
How does the tour work if my cruise ship arrives or leaves at an unusual time?
The schedule can shorten depending on your cruise arrival and departure times. At booking, you'll provide your ship name, docking time, disembarkation time, and re-boarding time, and the operator will notify you in advance of any adjustments to the itinerary.
What's included in the tour price?
The tour includes private air-conditioned transportation, an English-speaking guide, bottled water, Korean-style lunch or dinner, and guaranteed skip-the-line access at attractions. Round-trip pickup and drop-off at the cruise port are also included.
