A surf photoshoot in Jeffrey's Bay pairs your session with a photographer who shoots from the water while you ride. You meet your photographer at a location of your choice, scout the waves together, and decide where to paddle out based on your ability and the conditions that day. The shoot runs around 2 hours, and you receive all full-resolution images digitally afterward. Optional pickup and drop-off are available, and children from age 6 are welcome.

The experience

The session starts with a scout: you and your photographer meet wherever suits you in Jeffrey's Bay, walk the breaks together, and pick the spot that matches your skill level and what the waves are doing that day. Once you're suited up and paddling, the photographer stays in the water with you, shooting the whole time you're riding. You get to focus on your session while someone else handles the angles: the barrel shots, the spray, the moments you'd miss if you were trying to frame them yourself.

Around 2 hours of shooting means a real volume of images to choose from. After the session ends, your photographer sends you all the full-resolution files digitally, so you own everything that was captured. If you don't have your own transport or you're staying elsewhere in the area, pickup and drop-off are optional add-ons, making it simpler to get to the break and back.
