The experience

Once you're in, the jumps start small and build: short waterfall drops into pools, slides over smooth rock, swimming stretches between obstacles. The emerald water is the real draw here. You spend roughly two and a half hours moving through the canyon, and the pace is yours to set. Every jump has an exit route around it, so if a height looks wrong or the water feels too cold, you walk past it. Nobody has to prove anything.

The canyon gets steeper toward the end, with higher jumps and a rappel on a rope. By then you've found your rhythm, and the guide reads who's ready and who needs the bypass. When you reach the exit, you change into dry clothes and drive 15 minutes back to Bovec. The operator sends free photos from the trip after you leave.
