Skyline Luge Sentosa: 4 trails, night rides, skyride views
Control your speed down four trails, then float back up on the skyride
Skyline Luge Sentosa is a gravity-powered luge activity on Sentosa Island where you ride a three-wheeled sled down one of four purpose-built trails (each 20–25 minutes), then take an open-air chairlift back to the top to run another. Book 3 or 4 rounds in your choice of morning (before 1 PM) or evening sessions, with night rides lit by LED lights. Each round includes one descent and one skyride ascent. Safety gear is provided.

The experience
The luge itself is a three-wheeled gravity sled you steer down a 2.6 km racing track: no engine, no pedaling, just your weight and the slope. You pick which of four trails to run: the Dragon Trail stretches 688 meters with sharp hairpin turns; the Jungle Trail winds through a leafy tunnel for 628 meters; the Expedition Trail throws rainforest twists and tunnels at you across 658 meters; or the Kupu Kupu Trail glides smooth and scenic through the forest at 638 meters, built for a gentler pace. Each descent takes 20 to 25 minutes. When you reach the bottom, you board the Skyride: a four-seater open-air chairlift where your feet dangle as you float back up, taking in views of Sentosa Island, the Singapore skyline, and the South China Sea.
You choose how many rounds to run: either 3 or 4 complete cycles of luge plus skyride. The morning session runs from 10 AM until 1 PM. The evening session opens at 2 PM and stays open until 9 PM. If you book an evening slot, you'll ride the Night Luge, the world's first illuminated luge, where LED lights line the tracks and turn the descent into something entirely different. Safety gear is provided, and staff guide first-timers through the setup so you know how to brake and steer before you push off.
The whole experience runs about two hours from start to finish. Sentosa Island has public transport nearby, and the site is wheelchair accessible, though the luge itself requires at least moderate fitness and is not suitable for travelers with spinal injuries, pregnancy, or cardiovascular concerns. Extreme weather can cancel your session. The operator may offer a voucher in that case rather than a refund.

Top questions
What happens if it rains?
It may be canceled due to bad weather. If that happens, you're offered another date or a refund. Free cancellation up to 24 h before the start.
How many times do I actually ride the luge if I book 4 rounds?
Four rounds means four complete cycles: you run the luge four times and take the skyride back up four times. Each descent and ascent takes 20 to 25 minutes, so the full session fits inside roughly two hours.
Can I pick which trail to ride, or is it assigned?
You pick your trail each time you're at the top. The four options are Dragon Trail (688 meters, sharp turns), Jungle Trail (628 meters, leafy tunnel), Expedition Trail (658 meters, rainforest twists), and Kupu Kupu Trail (638 meters, smooth and scenic). You can run the same trail multiple times or mix them across your rounds.
What's the difference between the morning and evening sessions?
Morning sessions run from 10 AM to 1 PM in daylight. Evening sessions run from 2 PM to 9 PM. If you book an evening slot, you'll ride the Night Luge, where LED lights illuminate the tracks. The morning rides are in natural light.
Do I need to know how to steer the luge before I start?
No. Safety gear is provided, and friendly staff guide first-timers through how to brake and steer before your first descent, so you'll know what to expect.
What happens if the weather is bad on my booking day?
Extreme weather can cancel your session. The operator may issue a voucher instead of a refund, depending on the situation.
