The experience

The gondola itself is the whole experience: you board an open-air cabin that rotates slowly as it ascends, so the view shifts continuously rather than staying fixed. At 79 metres above sea level, it ranks among the highest vantage points on Sentosa. The rotation means you see the island, the bay and the Southern Islands from every angle during the climb, and the open design means nothing sits between you and the view, or between you and the air.

The ride takes 15 minutes from bottom to top, which is short enough to fit into a morning or afternoon without reshaping the rest of your day.
