Your day starts with a 30-minute drive from your hotel in a private, air-conditioned vehicle. The driver meets you in the hotel lobby and takes you straight to Singapore Flyer, the observation wheel in Downtown Core with 28 capsules that opened in 2008. You'll spend time at the top looking out over the city, then head to the real standout part of this Singapore tour: the DUKW amphibious vehicle.
The DUKW is an actual Vietnam War-era transport that's been restored and now carries tourists. Your professional guide walks you through a city drive first (past the Esplanade, Padang, National Gallery, City Hall, and the War Memorial), so you get the landmarks from street level. Then the vehicle slides into Marina Bay and you're floating. From the water, you see the Merlion, Singapore River, Marina Bay Sands, the Esplanade Theatres, and the skyline all at once, which is genuinely different from what you see from the wheel. The whole DUKW experience is guided, so you're not just riding. Someone's telling you what you're looking at.
After the guided portion wraps, you get two hours of free time. Your guide drops you at a convenient spot and you walk around on your own: Marina Bay area, shops, whatever you want.
