The experience

You start with a perfume personality test (available in English, Chinese, Malay or Cantonese) that maps your scent preferences and narrows down which of the 120+ fragrance oils will suit you. The oils themselves are infused with native orchids and other rainforest botanicals, so the blends you're working with carry the actual smell of Singapore's floral heritage. You mix and match based on your results, layering the oils until you land on a scent that feels like yours, then bottle the finished 100ml blend to take home.

The workshop sits on Sentosa with beach on one side and rainforest on the other, and the location is part of the point: the aromas you're working with come from that same environment. Beyond the blending itself, you get access to 200+ augmented reality exhibits that let you explore how each fragrance oil connects to the plants and flowers around you. Since smell and memory are processed by the same part of the brain, the scent you create becomes a lasting memory of the island itself.
