Six hours on the water: glass bottom views, fish feeding, and a private lunch on an island with over 100 giant tortoises.

Snorkel Mahe Island's St Anne marine national park on a private glass bottom boat or speedboat departing from Victoria, with fish feeding, hundreds of marine species to discover, and a seafood lunch on Moyenne Island. Pickup from your accommodation is included. The group size you choose at checkout (2, 4, 6, or 8 people) determines the boat and the pace. A 45-minute walk explores the island's hidden areas, or you can swim and relax on the white sand beach instead.

The experience

The boat leaves Victoria after pickup from your accommodation on Mahe Island. The 20-minute sail takes you to St Anne marine national park, where you'll feed fish and snorkel among hundreds of species. The glass bottom hull lets you watch marine life without getting wet, or you can gear up and enter the water yourself. The choice is yours at each stop. Snorkeling equipment is provided.

Moyenne Island is the main destination: a protected site in the marine park with a restaurant, toilets, and a small museum. The island is home to over 100 giant tortoises you can walk among. Spend your time as you want: swim around the island, hike the 45-minute trail to discover hidden spots, or stretch out on the white sand beach. Lunch is a private spread of seafood, meat, rice, salads, soft drinks and water, served on the island.

The return includes a swim near Round Island before sailing back to Mahe. The whole experience runs six hours. Your group size (2, 4, 6, or 8 people) is a private booking, so the boat, pace and stops stay yours alone. A guide speaks English or French. The vehicle is air-conditioned, and bottled water is on hand throughout.
