The experience
The tour runs four hours and moves through Medina in a private vehicle. You choose between a professional English-speaking guide or a driver with basic English when you book. Each option includes the same route and stops. The guide amplifies what you learn at each one. You travel at your own pace, with time to pray, reflect or ask questions without the pressure of a group schedule.
Masjid Al-Qiblatayn opens the journey: it marks the moment the direction of prayer shifted from Jerusalem to Mecca during a congregational prayer led by the Prophet. Masjid Quba, Islam's first mosque, built by the Prophet himself, follows. You'll see its modern structure and have space for quiet reflection. Mount Uhud, site of the historic Battle of Uhud, shows you the graves of the martyrs, including Sayyiduna Hamzah, and offers views across the mountain. The Garden of Salman Al-Farsi holds 300 date palms planted by the Prophet to free his companion Salman. The garden's well holds fresh water you can taste, and dates are sold there. Masjid Jummah marks where the first Friday prayer happened after the Prophet's migration from Makkah. The Seven Mosques (a cluster near the Battle of the Trench) each connect to key companions and moments from that pivotal event.
The vehicle is air-conditioned throughout, and the route ends with your return to the hotel. Infants sit on an adult's lap. Public transportation options exist nearby if you prefer to arrange your own arrival or departure.
