The experience
The tour begins at Arafat, the plain where Muslims gather each year for Hajj and where standing is the pillar that makes the pilgrimage complete. Your guide shares the history and spiritual significance of the site as you learn about Jabal Al Rahma, the mountain where pilgrims stand and where mercy is said to descend, and Namira Mosque, where the Prophet Muhammad delivered his sermon on the Day of Arafah. The guide narrates the stories tied to each location as you move through them.
From Arafat, the route passes through Muzdalifah at sunset, the sacred site where pilgrims flow after leaving Arafat on the ninth day of Hajj. You visit Al-Mash'ar Al-Haram Mosque, where worshippers perform combined prayers, and learn the details and history of this place. Then comes Mina, visited twice during the pilgrimage cycle, where you tour the Jamarat Bridge complex (the three pillars pilgrims stone during Hajj), and Al-Khaif Mosque, where prophets and the Prophet Muhammad prayed.
The final stops are Mount Noor and Hera Cave, landmarks in Makkah tied to the Prophet's life and the revelation of Islam.
