The experience

The cruise runs three hours and departs as the light starts to shift. You board via pontoon ramp and settle onto the yacht, which then heads east along the Algarve coast toward Falésia Beach: a 31-kilometer stretch of red cliff and sand 13 kilometers from Albufeira. The boat passes close enough to see the geology of the cliffs, then continues to Praia da Coelha near the village of Sesmarias. The route is built around the light: you're on the water when the sun is lowest and the color is strongest.

Wine tasting and light refreshments come with the ticket. Bottled water is available throughout. You're not anchoring or swimming.
