The experience

The boat leaves from Commerce Square, the waterfront plaza that faces the Tagus and once served as the ceremonial gateway to Lisbon. From there you cruise west along the river for two hours, passing under the 25th of April Bridge and past landmarks including Belém Tower, the Monument to the Discoveries, and the Jerónimos Monastery: all of them lit by the fading sun. The DJ animates the deck with music designed to keep the energy up without overwhelming conversation, and the open bar runs throughout: beer, wine, sangria and soft drinks are included.

You can dance, stand at the rail and watch the city recede, or find a quieter spot on deck. The boat has a restroom on board. A guide in English or Portuguese is there to point out the sights and answer questions. Arrive at the ticket booth 20–30 minutes before departure. As of August 1st, 2025, a €1.30 boarding tax applies at check-in. The experience is not recommended for children under 18 or for pregnant travelers.
