The experience

The yacht Xclusive leaves Albufeira marina and heads to the quieter coves along the Algarve coast. You're the only passengers on board, so the crew adjusts the route and the pace to what you want that day: a longer swim in one bay, an extra hour anchored in another, or a straight run along the cliffs if the light is right. A welcome drink arrives as you cast off, and the galley stays stocked with two bottles of wine (white or rosé), juice for each person, and three boards: regional charcuterie, cheese and fresh fruit. Other drinks are available for an extra cost.

The boat stops in a secluded bay where the water is calm enough to swim from the deck. How long you stay is up to you. The crew handles the anchor, the navigation and the service. You handle nothing but deciding when to get back in the water or stay on the loungers with a glass of wine and the Algarve light.

A guide speaks English, Spanish, Portuguese or French, so the crew can tell you about the coastline, the towns you're passing, or nothing at all: whatever suits the mood. Infants sit on an adult's lap. The boat works for any fitness level. Public transport runs near the marina if you need it to get there.
