The route takes you to Farol island first, where you get free time to walk the dunes, explore the small sand-built houses and rustic streets, or swim in the shallow water at the southernmost point of Portugal. On the morning tour during high season, you can eat lunch at one of the island's typical restaurants (your choice, not arranged by the tour company) or bring a picnic and stay longer. The afternoon stop is shorter, around an hour. From there the boat continues to Deserta island for more time to explore the beach and wildlife before heading back to Faro.
