The experience
The tour picks you up from your accommodation in the designated area and takes you by boat to Guyam Island first, where white sand and clear water make for easy swimming and snorkeling. From there you move to Daku Island, where you'll eat the boodle fight lunch (a communal Filipino feast spread across banana leaves), and interact with the local fishing community. The guide explains what you're seeing and eating. You decide how long to stay in the water at each stop.
Secret Island comes next, a hidden sandbar best visited at low tide when it's fully exposed. The contrast is stark: minimal vegetation, pristine sand, open sea views. After that, the tour often includes Naked Island, a similarly bare sandbar known for its simplicity. Both offer a different feel from the greener, more developed islands earlier in the day. The boat returns you to your accommodation by late afternoon.
Two guides come with you for the entire tour, speaking English and Filipino. They manage boat navigation, timing, docking fees and entrance fees, all included. Volleyball is available on the islands if you want to play. Coconuts are provided. The pace is yours: swim as much or as little as you like, and the guides adjust based on conditions and your interest.
