The experience

The day starts with pickup from your Legazpi hotel and moves through Naga's religious and civic landmarks: the Camarines Sur Provincial Capitol Complex, the Naga Metropolitan Cathedral, the Holy Rosary Seminary and the Basilica of Our Lady Penafrancia Church. A rolling tour takes in Plaza Rizal, Plaza Quezon and Plaza Quince Martires. The Eco Village and Camarines Sur Watersports Complex are also on the route, so you see both the heritage side of the city and its modern amenities.

The tour ends at Panicuason Hot Springs Resort, where you soak in warm mineral-rich water surrounded by countryside. This is where the day settles: after moving through the city's churches and plazas, you spend time in the springs before the drive back to Legazpi. The whole outing is covered by the operator's insurance, and a local driver and tour coordinator stay with the group throughout.
