The experience
You and your family climb into a raft with an experienced guide who has run this river for decades. The operator has been taking families out since 2005, and every raft carries a professional instructor who reads the water and keeps everyone safe. You get a wet suit, wet shoes, life jacket and helmet. Everything fitted before you push off. Transport to and from the river is included, so you show up ready to paddle.
The rapids are Level 1, which means they're designed for first-timers and mixed ages. Kids from 8 years old paddle alongside adults, and the pace lets everyone contribute without panic. The thrill of navigating the current together is what the operator built this for: families working as a team, laughing, with no phones or distractions pulling anyone away. You're on the water for about two and a half hours, and free coffee waits at the end.
When water levels drop during certain seasons, the trip leader can sometimes upgrade you to Super Rafting: a bit more action, still safe for children and adults, with a slower pace that actually reduces the risk of falling out. That call happens on the day, depending on the river conditions. If you want to check what's possible for your date, you can contact the operator in advance.

Is this one for you?The guide speaks English, so families with children who understand the language can follow instructions and safety briefings clearly. If water levels allow an upgrade to Super Rafting on the day, the trip leader will offer it: meaning you might get a bit more action than you booked for, not less.
