The experience
You start with a meet-and-greet where you hand-feed the adult alpacas (the food is included) before heading to the nursery paddock to watch the newborn crias (baby alpacas) with their mothers. This is when you see them pronk, the distinctive jumping behavior alpacas do when they're excited or playful. The babies are in their early weeks and months, and you watch the families interact while the expectant mothers wait their turn. Along the way you also meet the goats and feed the ducks.
The second half takes you to the Alpaca Space, where a guide walks you through the Field to Fashion story: how every fiber from the large herd becomes finished alpaca products. You see the production setup and can buy alpaca clothing, blankets, and plush toys to take home. Before you leave, you get more time with the pet boys for hand-feeding and photos. All the walks to the paddocks are accessible, and the farm has wheelchair access to the pastures, accessible restrooms, and accessible narration throughout.
