The experience

The Peace Wall and murals along Falls Road and Shankill Road tell Belfast's political story through street art and memorials. A full loop takes 90 minutes, and buses run every 20–30 minutes, so you're never waiting long to board again. The audio commentary plays in English, Spanish, Italian, French, and two other languages, with free headphones included. Your ticket also works on City Tours Belfast buses, which means you get whichever company arrives first: a 20-minute combined service across both operators. You can board at any stop. The first one is Donegall Square West near City Hall, but there's no need to start there.

If you add the Giant's Causeway day trip, you meet at City Hall at 8:15am and depart at 8:45am, returning around 6:30pm. The route covers the Giant's Causeway itself, Dunluce Castle, a viewpoint at Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge, and a drive through Cushendall, Glenariff, Cushendun, and Carnlough villages, ending at Carrickfergus Castle. The Giant's Causeway tour runs in English only, and the surfaces are uneven. Wear warm layers and comfortable walking shoes. You can enter Dunluce Castle or Carrickfergus Castle as a paid optional extra on the day. Book the Giant's Causeway for one date and use your 2-day bus ticket on other days of your trip.
