The experience

South from the city center, the route takes you through the Botanical Gardens and past the Palm House and Ulster Museum, where sculptures line the path. You pedal through the Holy Lands neighborhood and along the River Lagan to St George's Market, a covered market packed with food stalls, crafts and the noise of traders. The guide stops you there long enough to sample some traditional food as you walk through.
