The experience

The afternoon option splits here: either visit the Royal Delft Factory, the only remaining pottery manufacturer out of 32 established in the 17th century, where you'll see live hand-painting of Delft Blue earthenware, or spend the time at Madurodam, a miniature park holding over 120 scale-model replicas of famous Dutch buildings and historical sites.

The Hague closes the tour with its political landmarks: the Binnenhof, a 13th-century Gothic castle that became the oldest parliament building still in use, the Peace Palace housing the International Court of Justice, Noordeinde Palace (the official workplace of King Willem-Alexander since 2013), and the House of Representatives. A Mercedes minibus carries the group throughout, with one bottle of water per person included and pickup from your Amsterdam hotel.
