We met up outside Bar Twenty Two on Leidseplein — honestly, I almost walked past it because the square was already buzzing and everyone seemed to know where they were going except me. The crawl moved fast after that. Every bar had its own mood; one was all neon lights and sticky floors, another had this weirdly sweet smell from something behind the bar (not sure I want to know).
