The experience

You're picked up in Tangier and driven to Hercules Caves, a natural formation steeped in legend just outside the city. From there, the route heads to Cap Spartel, where the Atlantic and Mediterranean meet at a clifftop lighthouse with panoramic views of the coastline. Both stops sit within the first part of the day before the longer drive inland.

The route then cuts through the Rif Mountains toward Chefchaouen, where you get up to two hours of free time to walk the medina at your own pace. The blue-painted alleyways, handmade craft shops, and cafés in the central square are yours to explore without a guide or a fixed schedule. You can photograph, eat, browse, or simply sit. The time is unstructured.

After Chefchaouen, your driver takes you through the northern landscapes toward Fes. You arrive in the early evening with direct drop-off at your hotel or riad. The vehicle is air-conditioned throughout, bottled water is provided, and your driver speaks English, Spanish, or French depending on your preference.

What’s included

  • Private air-conditioned vehicle with a professional multilingual driver.
  • bottled water throughout the day.
  • hotel or riad pickup and drop-off in Fes.

Is this one for you?The seven to eight hour commitment leaves your morning free in Tangier and gets you settled in Fes by early evening, so it works if you're arriving mid-morning or earlier and need to reach Fes the same day. If you need to stay in Tangier longer or arrive later, this route won't fit your schedule.
