You ride your own quad bike across the Ouarzazate desert, navigating golden sand dunes, arid mountains and isolated oases. The terrain shifts under the wheels (soft sand, rocky stretches, open flats), and the guide sets the pace through varied landscapes. The hour moves fast when you're focused on the ride itself, reading the ground ahead and feeling the machine respond to the throttle and the turns.

The route often passes through local Berber villages, where you can see how people live in this landscape and meet residents going about their day. Your guide speaks English, French or Arabic and can explain what you're seeing as you move through the terrain. At a stopping point, traditional coffee or tea is served, a moment to rest and take in the scale of the desert around you.

The experience works best in late afternoon when the light turns warm across the sand, or early morning when the air is cool. If you want to extend the day, sunset tours and overnight camping under the stars are available as separate bookings.
